Tovah began her Riverside journey as an intern within the purchasing department during her summers off while she was attending high school. After graduating in 2021, she knew that there was nowhere else she’d rather continue her career, so she decided to apply for a full-time position as the Purchasing Assistant. With one year now under her belt, she can’t wait to see where the years will continue to take her within the company. 

“My favorite thing about my job is that I get to work directly with our builders,” Tovah said. “Making sure all of our invoices are approved on time helps keep everything moving out in the field and strengthens our relationships with vendors.”

Whenever a builder needs any additional materials or something replaced when they are out in the field, Tovah creates variance purchase orders and approves invoices for payment. This ensures that the vendors that work with Riverside Homebuilders are approved to go out to the job site and make any installs or repairs that need to be done. 

When it comes to creating our communities, we love to get the whole team involved throughout the process—and for Tovah, one community in particular has an incredible amount of meaning for her. Our Rocky Ridge community is located in the city of Weatherford, Texas, and when deciding on how best to name the streets throughout the community—the team at Riverside knew exactly who to entrust. 

“My mom was actually the one who got to name all of the streets in phase one,” Tovah explained. “Lynnwood Lane is actually named after my dad and grandpa.”
