The community he kept passing along U.S Route 380 was Midway Ridge in Ponder, Texas. Midway Ridge is a beautiful community with oversized one-acre homesites, offering a peaceful rural setting in the perfectly convenient location—and the location really sold it for Aaron. 

“My commute is around 11 minutes now, which is really great,” Aaron said. 

Aaron and his wife, Nikki, had worked with other builders in the past. But this time around, they were ready to create a home that their whole family could truly enjoy living in. They selected the Wichita floor plan, which provided the perfect amount of space for them and their two young children. This 3,140 square-foot layout has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a three-car garage and plenty of bonus spaces for the Chezem family to use as they see fit. 

“I had a good feeling about Riverside after my first conversation with them,” Aaron said. “I love supporting other community businesses, and I really liked what I heard from their employees.” 

Once construction was underway, Aaron appreciated the open line of communication. He liked being able to talk to the builder on his particular site, since a lot of bigger builders don’t offer that same one-on-one interaction during the process. 

“Material shortages were a bit of a strain due to COVID, but the team went out of their way to fix any problems we ran into,” Aaron said.
