There's Still Time to Buy for the Holidays
It probably feels like ages since you set your new year’s resolutions. However, if they included buying a new home in 2020, we have good news. There’s still time to buy for the holidays, or even move into that new school district you’ve been eyeing, and Riverside Homebuilders can help you hit that timeline.
After months of social distancing and sweatpants, the extroverts are struggling. Whether you are the kind that likes to cook for a crowd, or simply serve as the central destination for family and friends to gather, the wheels are surely spinning for your next event. Do you need a more spacious kitchen? A better flexible space for more casual dining? Or maybe, it’s some extra room for the kids to split off and entertain themselves between dinner and dessert.
Regardless, now is the time to start looking to guarantee you can make the move before the Fall.
So what are my options?
The fastest and most reliable way to settle in this Summer is a quick move-in home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. These homes are spread throughout our Riverside Homebuilders communities and can be filtered by the city or school district to help your family find the right location. You can schedule an in-person or virtual appointment to view homes that fit your bill, and our team can help you close within the month and start your move as soon as possible.
Choosing a quick move-in home does not allow for much personalization, but our designers have selected some of the most popular and stylish selections meaning there might be something you love on the market today.
If you aren’t seeing your dream home, we can start building it soon in the community of your choosing. Start by finding a location that works for your family and then consider the available floor plans. Each has been carefully selected to fit the look and feel of the surrounding homes while offering its own personalization as well.
This option allows for you to make a few more choices as you go with floor plan alterations and design details to give you the perfect place to entertain friends and family this holiday season. We have to start moving now though, because a traditional new build project will take three to four months to complete with a little leeway for the weather.
Choosing the right school district
The end of the school year looked different too with students moving to online classes while many parents transitioned to work from home. We were lucky to be surrounded by teachers and administrators who worked hard to make the arrangements as smooth and productive as possible.
Living in a Riverside Homebuilders community means a commitment to quality education through access to some of the state’s top school districts no matter which city you choose to call home. Our DFW Relocation Guide can help you with a general overview of each district as you start shopping.
Selling the home you have
Through Riverside’s partnership with Open Door, we can also help alleviate the burden of selling the home you have. Simply visit the site and enter your address to receive a quote. Once you have it, set your closing date anywhere between 14 days to nine months without showings, repairs or an in-person assessment. This frees you up to shop on your schedule -- no matter what your motivation to move might be.
If you are ready to start looking for your next home, reach out to Rachel. She and the rest of the Riverside Homebuilders team will help find the right location and right home while taking advantage of historically low interest rates.
