Finding the Right Floor Plan at Springwood Ranch
Riverside Homebuilders guides our customers through a process that considers lifestyle needs and wishes. In our newest community in Springtown, TX, we’re experiencing a lot of activity with the launch of the homesites. This is how our team collaborates on finding the right floor plan at Springwood Ranch.
Understand the use of square footage
First of all, with the one-acre homesites, homebuyers have no difficulty finding a new home design that will work on the land. So, the first question is, how much space do you need?
Homes are measured in square feet, which gives you the overall size of a home. This sum doesn’t define how the space is allocated. The total square footage is a start, but “read” the floor plans to get the feel for the flow from room and room and the size of these spaces. Compare the room sizes to your current home to see how they measure up.
Look at the square feet in the main living area. Can your family comfortably relax in here? If you like to entertain, will this space accommodate your guests? Does the kitchen provide the workspace you need, including room for others who inevitably join you?
If you enjoy relaxing in your bedroom, you might want space for a sitting area. Will the master bedroom provide for that wish?
Any conditioned space (heated or cooled) is calculated into your total square footage. That means closets, stairways, and the utility room are figured into that sum. So, if you’ve decided you want a 2,000-square-foot home, you might discover that some “feel” larger than the others.
What to look for in a floor plan
In Riverside Homebuilders’ Leona 2,069-square-foot floor plan, we created the main living area as the focal point. We used enough square footage for the foyer to present a welcome entry without expending too much space here. Closets have been smartly incorporated throughout the floor plan to provide ample storage in relation to the size of the home. You can take a closer look at the Leona in the new homes we built at 144 Springwood Ranch Loop, 206 Springwood Ranch Loop, and 220 Springwood Ranch Loop (and see how the design can be personalized, inside and out).
With 2,254 square feet, the Colorado home design features the popular open floor plan. The kitchen occupies one corner of the wall-less area, making smart use of square footage by balancing workspace, storage, and easy flow. We’ve included a breakfast bar that seats three people—more dining space without taking up square feet. This floor plan offers a flex room and formal dining room, so it’s a good choice for homeowners who want options, like a home office, guest room, den, media room, hobby studio, or some other function. We currently have two move-in ready homes at Springwood Ranch in the Colorado floor plan: 228 Springwood Ranch Loop and 130 Springwood Ranch Loop.
The 1929 C floor plan demonstrates “living large” with less square footage. With a total of 1,929 square feet, we’ve created a home that presents interesting lines and layout. The main living area begins with the living room near the entrance and then takes a little turn at the back, continuing the open floor plan to a dining room, kitchen, and den (which could be a play area). We’ve also included additional space in the laundry room for a freezer. The Springwood Ranch Home at 224 Springwood Ranch Loop reflects the 1929 C design and is currently available.
Riverside Homebuilders wants to help you find the right home. In addition to Springwood Ranch, we build communities of new homes for sale in Dallas-Fort Worth’s surrounding cities and towns.
